Eligibility Requirements
1. Student must be in good standing entering their Junior or Senior year (60 hour minimum) with at least two more semesters of education remaining at the time of application.
2. Applicant must provide evidence of academic achievement through college transcript, on which the cumulative grade point is recommended at 2.5 or above.
3. Student must be enrolled at an accredited four-year university in the state of Texas, Oklahoma or Louisiana and a citizen of the United States.
4. Student is either in an energy management major or can demonstrate through transcripts the completion of classes related to the energy commodity business.
5. Applicants may receive other grants and scholarships provided the student is not on an all-inclusive scholarship from another source.
Applications for Spring 2009 Semester will be available on the web site beginning August 1, 2008. The application deadline is September 15, 2008 at Midnight. Winners will be notified by October 2, 2008 so the scholarship funding can be sent to the universities by January 1, 2009.
