Scholarship Program - Excellence in Education


Eligibility Requirements

1. Student must be in good standing entering their Junior or Senior year (60 hour minimum) with at least two more semesters of education remaining at the time of application.

2. Applicant must provide evidence of academic achievement through an official college transcript, on which the cumulative grade point is recommended at 2.5 or above.

3. Student must be enrolled at an accredited four-year university and a citizen of the United States.

4. Student is in an energy management major, can demonstrate through transcripts the completion of classes related to the energy commodity business or has energy industry intern / work experience.

5. Applicants may receive other grants and scholarships provided the student is not on an all-inclusive scholarship from another source.

Application for Fall 2011 / Spring 2012 Semesters will be available on the web site beginning January 1, 2011.

The application deadline is Monday, May 2, 2011.  NESA must be IN RECEIPT of the completed application & ALL accompanying paperwork by the close of business (5:00 PM) on 5/2.  Facsimile receipt of paperwork will NOT be accepted

Winners will be notified by July 1, 2011 so the scholarship funding can be sent to the universities by August 1, 2010 (first installment for fall semester) and again in December 2010 (for spring 2011 semester).
